Sporting beat Gil Vicente 4-0 this Friday in Barcelos in the first match of the 29th round of the I Football League, taking another step towards winning the title.
Starting as a lion, Sporting, who had reached their 14th straight game unbeaten in the league (sixth win in a row), found themselves 2-0 up after just 11 minutes, with goals from Trincao (7 minutes) and Diomande (eleven). had already reached the break 4-0, with another goal from Trincao (31) and an own goal from goalkeeper Andrew (38) against Gil Vicente, who registered a seventh game without a win, a fourth defeat in a row, without being able to respond.
