The Mozambican government announced on Tuesday the dismissal of three presidents of state institutions, namely Mozambique Airports, the National Institute of Communications of Mozambique and the National Institute of Road Transport.
At the National Institute of Communications of Mozambique (INCM), Tuaha Mote, president since September 2021, will be replaced by Helena Thomas, said Council of Ministers spokesman Filimo Suaze after the body’s weekly meeting in Maputo.
The Mozambican government has chosen Nelson Mario to replace Chinguane Mabote, who has held the position since September 2021, as President of the National Institute of Road Transport (Inatro).
In the case of Mozambique Airports, Américo Muchanga, the president of the public company since February 2022, was also dismissed, but his replacement has not yet been named.
The Mozambican government did not give reasons for the dismissals.
