Service on the Lisbon Metropolitan Blue line between S. Sebastião and Santa Apolónia stations was interrupted due to a signalling fault, the company reported on the social network X.
According to a post published at 23:15, due to a “signal fault, service has been interrupted between San Sebastian and Santa Apolonia stations.”
“At the moment it is impossible to predict the duration of the interruption, which may be extended. The metro is making every effort to resume traffic as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding,” it can be read.
Earlier at 22:58 the company reported that service on the Blue Line had been interrupted.
At 00:34 the company announced that circulation had already returned to normal.
The Lisbon metro operates four lines daily: yellow (Rato-Odivelas), green (Telheiras-Cais do Sodré), blue (Reboleira-Santa Apolónia) and red (Airport-São Sebastião).
The metro usually operates from 6:30 to 1:00.
