Coffee owned by the founder of the Wagner group, the victim of a terrorist attack that killed one person in Russia.

Russian military journalist Vladlen Tatarsky, died this Sunday in an explosion at a cafe in St. Petersburg, Russia. At least 25 people were injured as a result of the terrorist attack, which killed a blogger and influencer, according to the Moscow-based RT TV channel.

According to this TV channel, the cause of a strong explosion that occurred in the second city of Russia was an improvised explosive device planted in a statue delivered to Tatar.

The head of the Russian Interior Ministry confirmed the death of Tatarsky, whose real name is Maxim Fomin.

The cafe where the attack took place must have belonged to Evgeny PrigozhinAO, the founder of the Wagner Group, a Russian mercenary group that took on the defense of Moscow, namely in the bloody battles near Bakhmut, in the Donbass.

Who was Vladlen Tatarsky?

Since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, on both sides of the battlefield, a legion of “influencers” called “war journalists” have been covering the war, garnering thousands of followers, especially on the social networking site Telegram.

Russian Vladlen Tatarsky was part of this group of reporters enrolled in the military ranks. He was considered an ardent supporter of Russian President Vladimir Putin, although he has been a calculated critic of the regime from time to time.

Tatarsky was sometimes critical of Russian military failures in Ukraine, but he was considered a pro-Putin activist. He had over half a million subscribers on Telegram.
