Brazilian singer Lyudmila took part in the latest film “Fast and the Furious”.

Brazilian pop/funk singer Ludmila announced this Monday that she will appear as an actress in the latest film of the Hollywood saga, Velocidade Furiosa, which was filmed in Portugal.

“La Villana is now a Hollywood actress,” Ludmila wrote on Instagram, referring to the title of the album she released this year.

The singer, who also has a song on the Fast X soundtrack, posted a video of her participation in the film where she appears to be waving a flag to start a car race.

In June and July, Highway 24 (A24) in the Vila Real and Viseu districts was closed to traffic in several sections due to the filming of some scenes of the movie “Fast X”. The filming of the film also resulted in traffic and pedestrian closures in Casillas in Almada.

Vin Diesel, Charlize Theron, Jason Momoa, Brie Larson, Michelle Rodriguez and Portuguese Daniela Melchior starred in the tenth and final film of the Fast and the Furious saga.

According to the script by Justin Lin and Dan Mazo, the shooting took place not only in Portugal, but also in the UK and Italy.

In the fifth film of the Rio Opera saga, one of the main locations was the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro.

Actress Jordana Brewster, who played the sister of the protagonist Dom Toretto in six films, was born in Brazil, the daughter of a Brazilian woman, and lived in Rio de Janeiro until she was 10 years old.

One of the songs on the soundtrack of the ninth film of the saga is also written by the Brazilian Anita, “Furiosa”, which Carioca recorded in Spanish and English along with artists such as Skepta, Trippie Redd, Offset and Pop Smoke.

Ludmila was nominated for Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese at the Latin Grammy in 2016 and nominated for Best Samba Album in 2022.
