The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, has urged the new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, to ensure that Human Rights are fundamental for the management and development of the platformafter all team members in this area have been fired after taking office.

In the letter, he has also valued the advantages and opportunities of the platform that, he has assured, “has much to offer to our common agenda for a common world”although he has pointed out that they must be clear about the requirements to make it a reality.
