A GNR patrol from Vialonga, Vila Franca de Xira, traveled 25 kilometers to Cuartel do Carmo in Lisbon, where the overall command of this security force works, to help extricate two drunken tourists who had climbed onto the roof of a building.
This was announced by the official source of GNR. cm that the situation was discovered at dawn on Sunday. “A 28-year-old Canadian woman and a French woman, who did not identify themselves, were supposed to be at a party that took place in a bar behind the main command,” he explained.
Two women climbed to the roof of the headquarters, and there the security cameras recorded the intrusion. “They were taken down by duty soldiers, despite the unwillingness” of the tourists, he added.
The same source explained that “although there is a police department in the General Command, it is closed on weekends.” Therefore, it was decided to call a patrol from Vialonga. He added that it was this patrol that made sure that the case was sent to court.
The tourists were installed and after they came to their senses, they were released.
