Chega president André Ventura will become deputy member of the TAP parliamentary commission of inquiry, replacing Pedro Pessaña, who stepped down from his post.
According to information confirmed to Lusa by sources in the commission, these requests – for resignations and replacements – were delivered late in the afternoon on Tuesday.
Thus, Andre Ventura becomes deputy in the parliamentary commission of inquiry for the TAR, which has Cheg’s current deputy Filipe Melo, coordinator of the parliamentary group and vice president of the commission.
Hearings are scheduled for Wednesday between Joao Galamba’s former deputy Frederico Pinheiro and the chief of staff of Infrastructure Minister Maria Eugenia Cabasu.
On Thursday it will be the turn of Joao Galamba, who will be questioned by the deputies.
