The Judicial Police (PJ) have detained a man in Paredes who has been “severely charged with repeated practice” of sexual assault crimes against a minor under the age of 11, authorities said Thursday.
According to a press release from the SP, the alleged crimes were committed at this location in the Porto area about two years ago.
“The accused practiced sexual violence using his life experience and family connection with the child of a close relative, taking advantage of the child’s self-confidence and the fact that for several periods he remained alone in the family’s house,” the report says. information.
After reporting the facts to the judicial police, the information added, steps were taken to collect “reliable evidence of the commission of these crimes and the corresponding authorship”, culminating in the arrest of the alleged aggressor.
The detainee has no criminal record and will be present at the first judicial interrogation about the application of coercive measures.
