On Monday, a 35-year-old man was beaten by three EMEL employees on Avenida da República in Lisbon. The victim suffered a head injury, breaking his nose and three teeth.
It all happened around 13:00. The man waited for the woman and stopped the car. An EMEL employee who was passing by on a motorcycle ordered to remove the car, but the driver refused. They exchanged a few words until a second EMEL employee approached and hit the driver. Shortly thereafter, a third colleague appeared.
The attacks stopped only thanks to the intervention of people who noticed the scene of violence. The man was treated on the spot and taken to the San José Hospital in Lisbon. The PSP has already identified the suspects, despite not making any arrests.
