Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Thursday that the war in Ukraine will only end when Kiev wins and insisted on joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) when he attends the European Political Community summit in Moldova.
“Until we win. When we win, the war will end or they [russos] they can leave our territory for their independent territory,” Volodymyr Zelensky said upon arrival at the second summit of the European Political Community in Moldova, answering a question about the duration of the war in Ukraine.
In these press statements, the President of Ukraine emphasized that the country was “ready to join NATO.”
Guest of honor Vladimir Zelensky was an expected presence, but without confirmation until the last moment, and was the first to arrive at the European Political Community summit shortly after the host, Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
