Britain should not worry too much about the threat posed by Russian Security Council Vice President Dmitry Medvedev, former British Chief of Staff General Richard Dannat said on Sky News on June 1.
“It’s worrying, but I don’t think we need to worry too much.”Dannat said. She stressed that although Medvedev was president before, he is now “something of a big talker”pronounce statements aloud.
The British general supported the words of British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley that if the Ukrainians decide to use their own capabilities to attack targets in Russia, then this is their business, the Ukrainians. According to Dannat, it is only important that the British cruise missiles are nowhere to be found in Russia.
“What the Ukrainians should not do, and this is very important, is to use weapons of purely Western origin. (for attacks on Russia – approx. Red Spring AI). We don’t want to find Storm Shadow anywhere in Russia.”Dannat said.
Recall that Medvedev, commenting on the words of British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley, said that the UK is waging a de facto undeclared war against Russia, which means that its military and civilian contributors to the war can be considered a legitimate military objective.
