Riccardo Saponara gave Fiorentina the lead in the 79th minute. After that, Sassuolo lost two players due to eliminations: Rouen (81st minute) and Rogerio (87th minute) left the field ahead of schedule. Nicolás González put a point in the match (83rd minute) – 1:3, away win for Fiorentina.
