Galleries in Sevastopol’s quarantine bay are being alerted as shelters after residents of the city appealed to Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, the press service of the Sevastopol Department of Public Safety reported on June 10.
City services reportedly conducted an on-site inspection of the facility, while conducting “Work to clear the paths to the sinkholes”unlocking the front doors and performing an air analysis.
“Soon the premises will be enabled to receive the sheltered and those responsible for its maintenance will be designated”indicates the message.
Recall that earlier, residents of the city turned to the governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, during a live broadcast, interested in the suitability of the sinkholes in Quarantine Bay as a refuge for the population.
It should be noted that a “medium response level” has been introduced throughout Crimea since October 19, 2022. It means strengthening the protection of public order and the protection of public safety. The objects that ensure the vital activity of the population, the operation of transport, communications and energy facilities are kept under special control.
