A woman found on a beach in Punta Negra, Peru, a dog that can’t stop looking at the sea.
Jolie Mejia and her family were visiting the area when they were approached by a dog that appeared to be alone: “He didn’t look abandoned. He wore a ribbon around his neck and his fur was clean,” Mejia told the newspaper. Dodo🇧🇷 “I stroked him, waited for his owner, but minutes passed, and no one came.”
According to Mejia, the dog looked at the sea because “the owner is a fisherman who died some time ago, [e por essa razão] the dog comes to the beach every day.”
The history of the animal is known by the locals who feed, shelter and care for its health when it needs it.
The veterinarian in Punta Negra confirmed Dodo that the dog’s name is Vaguito and that he is in the care of a woman who lives nearby.
