At the entrance to the last 10 kilometers, Gaspar Gonçalves (Efapel), Miguel Salgueiro (AP Hotels-Tavira-Farense) and Joao Medeiros stood out, discussing among themselves the victory in the sprint, in which the cyclist from Credibom-LA Aluminios – Marcos Car was the fastest, breaking the finish line in 3:29.17 hours.
In the final classification, Luis Mendonça closed with a total time of 18:44.30, 21 seconds behind Luis Gomez (Kelly-Simoldes-UDO) and 26 seconds behind Joaquim Silva (Efapel), who placed second and third place respectively.
Luis Mendonza, who has already won the Anicolor Grand Prix this season, now wins the third round of the Douro Internacional Grand Prix, replacing José Neves and Mauricio Moreira, winners of the first two rounds.
Rodrigo Caixas (Credibom-LA Alumínios-Marcos Car) won in the mountains, Alexandre Montes (Credibom-LA Alumínios-Marcos Car) was the best junior and Glassdrive-Q8-Anicolor was the best team.
