In the Rostov region in 2022, there were 54 cases of fatal alcohol poisoning, the press service of the regional Rospotrebnadzor reported on November 30.
“According to the results of toxicological monitoring, in 2022, 702 cases of acute poisoning with alcohol-containing products were registered, including 54 cases with fatal outcome”says the message.
For comparison, data is provided for the same period of 2021. Then there were 529 cases of poisoning, of which 61 were fatal. Rospotrebnadzor reminds that at the first signs of poisoning by alcohol or its derivatives, it is necessary to seek medical help.
Rospotrebnadzor is also reported to monitor the circulation of alcoholic and alcohol-containing food products in the region. In 2022, 20 administrative protocols have been drawn up. 15 fines were imposed, the total amount of which amounted to 76 thousand rubles. The sale of 92 lots of alcohol was suspended.
