Police said the demonstration was peaceful. On the morning of May 24, some 200 people marched on the airbase. The route of the march passed the train station in the center of Ramstein to the roundabout on the access road in front of the western gate of the US airbase.
At the station, the Bahnhofstrasse had to be closed for a short time due to too many people on it. However, there were no major traffic disruptions.
