Madonna has already been discharged from the hospital and is at home, after a stay in intensive care promotes BBC. The health news was shared by her manager, who revealed that the singer had suffered a “serious bacterial infection.”
The 64-year-old singer was flown home in a private ambulance and received thousands of messages of support online. Madonna was supposed to start a seven-month world tour in the coming weeks, but she had to postpone it.
“For the time being, we have to suspend all activities, including touring,” her manager Guy Osiri said.
“We’ll share more details with you as soon as we have it, including a new tour start date and rescheduled shows,” he added.
