Jacinda Ardern interrupted the reporter and asked, “Has anyone asked Barack Obama and John Key if they get together because they’re the same age?” referring to the former President of the United States of America and the former Prime Minister of New Zealand.
“We have a higher proportion of men in politics – this is a reality – and if two women meet, it’s not only because of their gender.” Time🇧🇷
Sanna Marin, on the other hand, replied that the meeting took place because “we are prime ministers”, the Finnish official added that the visit to New Zealand was “a special request of mine” and she hopes her visit will strengthen “connection with the country.
