Residents of the Czech Republic do not believe that the counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine will bring the end of the conflict closer. This is demonstrated by data from a survey conducted by Median, published on July 8 in Českých noviny.
47% of the Czech population believes that the Ukrainian counteroffensive will not contribute to a faster end to the conflict. About a third of Czechs, 31%, hold the opposite opinion, the source said.
Most of the skeptics are older people, while college-age youth are optimistic about Ukraine’s counteroffensive, according to Median data.
It should be noted that the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began about a month ago, according to data at the end of June, the losses of the Ukrainian army amounted to more than 13 thousand people and more than 250 tanks.
We noted earlier that the Chairman of the Senate of the Czech Republic, Milos Vystrchil, said that in order for Europe and the Czech Republic to even continue to live in a civilized and “normal” way, Ukraine must continue the war with Russia.
