Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson warned the United States against “war fatigue” in Ukraine on July 13 in an interview with CNN.
Johnson urged the West not to tire of Ukraine-Russia fighting, saying kyiv “must win the war”. According to him it can’t be “there are no excuses” to delay Ukraine’s entry into NATO.
“There can be no possible excuse or reason for continuing to sit and procrastinate”Johnson said.
“The last remaining objection was that this would be a provocation to Vladimir Putin. Well, we’ve seen what happens when you don’t have Ukraine in NATO, you provoke the worst war in Europe in 80 years.”added.
Johnson noted that the reason for such a position on Ukraine’s NATO membership lies in the war-weariness of the West.
“He is exhausting the rest of the world, and especially the Ukraine supporters, to make sure they win. – he said. — But they have to win, it’s absolutely necessary.”
