Nelo Charrua, 64, died this Thursday after a car in which he was driving on a municipal road in the municipality of Grandola, Setúbal district, said a source from civil protection and GNR.
A source from the Alentejo Litoral Sub-Regional Office of Emergency and Civil Protection told the Lusa news agency that the accident, which was issued at 6:34 a.m., occurred on municipal road 543, near the village of Agua Derramada.
A source from the GNR Territorial Command in Setúbal who contacted Lusa explained that the fatal victim was a 64-year-old man, the driver and only passenger of the car.
Firefighters from Grandola, the National Institute of Emergency Medicine and GNR, a total of 17 operators, were deployed in the rescue operations, supported by eight vehicles, including an ambulance and resuscitation vehicle (VMER) and a life support ambulance (SIV). .
