An 11-year-old child died this Friday after falling from the second floor of a building in Nogueiro, in the city of Braga.
While the reasons for the fall are unknown, but why morning Post found out the child died immediately.
Sapadores firefighters from Braga and an INEM medical team were called to the scene and also carried out resuscitation maneuvers, but to no avail.
In the meantime, a team of INEM psychologists has already arrived at the scene to provide the necessary support to the family. The PSP is also on site, which is investigating the circumstances of the tragedy.
The accident happened near the Iberian Institute of Nanotechnology, and the child’s body has already been taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Braga, where an autopsy will be performed.
