The idea of creating regional, municipal school museums, dedicated to the events of the special military operation and the exploits of its participants belongs to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The workers of the Astrakhan museum were among the first who decided to start creating expositions and expositions on this topical topic.
At the scientific and methodological council, Kurapov said that the Russian Ministry of Culture, together with the Russian Historical Society, had created an inter-museum working group to collect exhibits related to the New World Order. The group includes the main museums of the country: the Museum-Reserve of the Battle of Stalingrad, the Museum of Contemporary Russian History, the Victory Museum and the State Historical Museum.
At the council, it was decided to start collecting material, as well as information about the Astrakhan heroes from the Northern Military District.
The creation of regional exhibitions of the Northern Military District will be supported by the Association of Historical and Military History Museums, to which the museum-reserve joined in May of this year. In particular, with the assistance of federal colleagues, the thematic structure of the exhibition, an excursion and multimedia content will be developed.
