A three-year-old child accidentally shot his one-year-old brother in San Diego, USA. The accident happened this Monday.
According to a statement from the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the three-year-old had access to a loose gun. She shot and hit her one-year-old brother in the head.
The victim was taken by firefighters to Palomar Hospital in the United States. Efforts to save the child were still underway, but the death was eventually announced around 8:30 am.
The San Diego Sheriff’s Department said investigators are looking for more information to establish the circumstances of the death. The authorities also said that “there are no pending suspects and there is no threat to society.”
