This Wednesday, the United States announced a new $1.3 billion (about €1.1 billion) military aid plan for Ukraine to support its efforts to resist the Russian invasion.
According to a statement from the Pentagon, the plan includes the delivery of four anti-aircraft missile systems, anti-tank missiles, artillery ammunition, mine-clearing equipment and “drones”.
This new aid package “underscores the continued commitment of the United States to meeting Ukraine’s urgent needs by providing critical short-term capabilities, as well as building the enduring ability of Ukraine’s armed forces to defend its territory and repel aggression in the medium to long term.” adds a statement.
