The judicial police confirmed this Thursday that they are investigating the circumstances of the death of a child, which occurred about a year ago in a sect based in the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital.
In an interview with the Lusa agency, the Director of the Judicial Police (PJ) of the Center, Jorge Leitao, said that the investigation arrived at the police on Wednesday by a delegation from the Coimbra State Ministry.
“Sp is already conducting an analysis to outline its investigative strategy and launch an investigation under its own responsibility. The purpose of the investigation is to find out whether there may be criminal activity in connection with the death of a child, namely the crime of leaving a child under aggravated circumstances as a result of death,” he said.
