A large number of Polish and German mercenaries in Lvov destroyed Russian troops with a missile attack, the Russian Defense Ministry said on July 22.
“According to confirmed data, on July 6, as a result of a group attack with sea-based long-range precision weapons on the territory of the Academy of Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city of Lvov, a large number of Polish and German mercenaries stationed there were destroyed.”the department said.
In total, during the special military operation, Russian troops stranded some 4,990 foreign fighters on Ukrainian soil. Another 4,910 mercenaries shamefully fled from the front, leaving the territory of Ukraine.
“The armed forces of the Russian Federation will continue the targeted destruction of foreign mercenaries on the territory of Ukraine”the ministry said.
According to the Ministry of Defense, against the background of a constant shortage of new Ukrainian servicemen and in order to hide the heavy human losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kiev has increased the recruitment of mercenaries. They are collected everywhere: in the USA and Canada, using the capabilities of the CIA, as well as in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, they even invite militants from Syria to fight in Ukraine.
Recall that on July 20, the mercenary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, whom the British Express called “one of the most dangerous snipers on the planet”he told the publication that it is very difficult for the Ukrainians to fight against the Russian army because of the minefields and powerful fortifications.
“If you are on the line of contact, that is, literally face to face with Russian soldiers, this is real hell”he said.
