Remember that from January 1, new rules for keeping pets in the Rostov region were introduced.
So, in the corridors of communal apartments, on balconies and loggias, attics and basements, it was forbidden to equip houses for pets.
In apartments where several families live, pets can only be accommodated with the written consent of all persons registered in this apartment.
Owners are prohibited from keeping pets without food and water, as well as in inappropriate conditions.
In private homes, dogs must remain in cages appropriate to the size of the animal. Dogs weighing more than 22.5 kg must have a cabin with an area of at least 2.2 square meters, dogs of medium breeds (from 16 to 22.5 kg) – 1.8 square meters. m.The height of the stand must be at least 0.9 m.
The dog’s walking time is also regulated: twice a day for at least half an hour.
Cat lovers will be able to have a limited number of pets at home. Their number depends on the area of the room.
“For non-compliance with the rules, it is proposed to establish administrative responsibility. Depending on the composition of the offense, the amount of the fine will vary from 500 rubles to 5 thousand.– explained Alexander Kosachev, Chairman of the Committee on Legislation of the Legislative Assembly.
However, the deputies of the Legislative Assembly will make a final decision on this issue at a meeting on July 25.
