“These tools do not serve or are intended to replace the primary role of journalists in reporting, creating and verifying news,” a spokesman for the US company said.

This tool can help journalists with headlines or different writing styles. Some of those present at the meeting with Google were confused by this concept.
The news comes after Associated Press announced that they are exploring artificial intelligence for news generation with the owners of ChatGPT.
In Portugal sports website Zero zero has a bot that “produces text from data and statistics” used to write game summaries.
