The cooperation agreement was signed by representatives of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV). This was reported on August 8 by the Prensa Latina news agency.
The documents were signed by the Secretary of Organization of the PCC, Roberto Morales, and the first vice president of the PSUV, Diosdado Cabello.
Diosdado Cabello pointed out that this act is an expression of the joint work carried out by both political organizations at the national and international level, which strengthens the capacity of Cuba and Venezuela to transmit their message to the world.
The First Vice President of the PSUV also recalled that Cuba and Venezuela have experienced constant attacks and subversive experiments by the United States, which were directed against the revolutionary processes in the region.
A delegation of five vice presidents and other members of the PSUV leadership, headed by Diosdado Cabello, arrived in Cuba on August 7.
