Eleven bodies were recovered by French authorities after a fire broke out on Wednesday at a home for people with disabilities in Winzenheim, France.
The blaze forced the nursing home to be evacuated, and there are still records of two users requiring medical attention. The victims were a supervisor and 10 adults with mild cognitive impairment who were vacationing in the home.
The warning was given around 6:30 am (5:30 am in Portugal). More than 70 firefighters arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire, which has already been localized.
According to the TV channel, 17 people were taken out of the building, one of whom had to be taken to the hospital, and the other to be treated on the spot due to a state of shock.
