The heads of the key ministries of the government of the Russian Federation inspected the new executive car LADA Aura sedan, the AvtoVAZ Corporation press service said on August 12 on the website of the corporate community “At the Factory”.
A photo of a sedan next to its “big brother” Aurus Senat was posted on the page of the site dedicated to the description of this event. The press service reported that these cars were chosen as official vehicles for Russian officials. Officials are expected to start changing them in late 2023.
Remember, it was previously reported that LADA Aura is an elongated sedan made on the Vesta platform. It received a wheelbase increased by 25 cm, was equipped with improved noise insulation, a retractable rear armrest, a genuine leather interior and a premium audio system.
“Aura” is equipped with a 122-horsepower 1.8-liter gasoline engine, an automatic transmission (presumably a CVT). The new model was presented in early June at the Eurasia is Our Home exhibition in Sochi.
