CMTV was the absolute TV leader in Portugal during most of the live and exclusive broadcasts of the Arab Cup final, in which Al Nasr Ronaldo faced Jorge Jesus’ Al Hilal.
Between 5.30 pm and 6.50 pm, the program was the absolute TV leader, ahead of RTP-1, SIC and TVI at that time.
The final, which Al Nasr won with two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, averaged 352,000 viewers with a 12% share, with a total audience of over a million viewers.
The result of the game contributed to another day when CMTV became the absolute leader in cable television, gaining more viewership than the competition combined.
Indeed, Correio da Manhã TV had an average daily share of 6.5%, compared to 2.8% for CNN and 2.2% for SIC Notícias. The share of RTP-3 was 0.6%.
CMTV leads the national cable information market for 16 consecutive months.
It is present on channel 8 of all cable platforms, but not yet on DTT.
The results shown are the responsibility of GFK.
