The plane with three people on board crashed on Tuesday near Lavaux-sur-Loire, France. The plane took off from Loudun (Vienna) at 11:07 and headed for La Baule. The wreckage was discovered in the afternoon by a search party in Lavaux-sur-Loire.
The pilot was Gérard Leclerc, former journalist for France 2 and political commentator for CNEWS since 2017 on the program L’Heure des Pros. In accordance with paris match, another tenant was the daughter of René Monory, former Minister of Education and former mayor of Loudun. The identity of the third passenger is still unknown.
According to the public prosecutor of Saint-Nazaire, quoted Le Figarothe aircraft did not send any distress messages.
The first debris was found in the channels.
Two bodies were identified, but the search was abandoned due to poor visibility.
A judicial investigation has been launched to determine the causes of the accident.
