This Monday, the G7 leaders decided to create a platform to coordinate the financial aid provided to Ukraine, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said.
“The goal is to quickly build this platform with the participation of Ukraine, international financial institutions and other partners,” Olaf Scholz said at a press conference in Berlin.
The German Chancellor also compared the restoration of Ukraine with the US Marshall Plan, which aims to rebuild Europe after World War II.
The leaders of the G7, which includes Germany, Canada, the US, France, Italy, Japan and the UK, gathered this Monday for a digital meeting.
“We are convinced that it was our unity and determination that isolated the President of Russia [Vladimir Putin]🇧🇷 We once again ask Putin to stop the killings and withdraw his troops from Ukraine,” Olaf Scholz said.
