Store employee The Brooklyn Center liquor store in Minnesota, USA, took off his sneakers and offered them to a man who didn’t have shoes after seeing him dig through the trash. The moment happened last Tuesday when La Teya Thomas, better known as Ace, realized that the man was looking for cardboard boxes to make shoes to cover his feet.
“I saw his feet and automatically took off my shoes,” the woman explained. CBS News🇧🇷 An employee explained that the sneakers were her favorite, but the decision to give them away was an easy one. “If my shoes can help make the world a better place, you can have them,” Ace told the man.

Store manager Tom Agnes, returning from lunch to find Ace serving customers in socks, was very proud of the employee’s gesture. Tom even decided to buy new sneakers so that his wife would not go barefoot during the shift. “I wish there were a dozen aces on the team,” Tom wrote on Facebook.
The gesture of solidarity also infected some friends who raised $450, about 425 euros, to help a colleague buy a bed for her mother. Ace takes care of the mother, who has slept in her daughter’s bed so far.
