Governor of the Kostroma region Sergei Sitnikov was awarded the III degree of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” on December 12, the press service of the regional administration reports.
The state award was presented to Sergei Sitnikov by Sergei Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, during a solemn ceremony in the Catherine Hall in the Kremlin.
Award Presented “for a great contribution to the socio-economic development of the Kostroma region and many years of conscientious work”.
Recall that earlier, the governor of the Kostroma region, Sergey Sitnikov, was awarded important state awards: the order “For Merit to the Fatherland” II degree in 1998; Order of Friendship in 2007; Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” I degree in 2010; Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” IV degree in 2018.
