Much has been said about Queen Elizabeth II’s huge and million-dollar collection of jewelry and who will be lucky enough to inherit this fortune. Elizabeth II had over 300 pieces of jewelry, but she decided she would be buried at Windsor with only two: an engagement ring and pearl earrings.
This was reported to the British newspaper by Lisa Levinson, head of communications at the Natural Diamond Council. Underground that Queen Elizabeth II will only wear “her simple gold Welsh engagement ring and a pair of pearl earrings.”
The coffin in which the monarch will be buried will not be as “modest” as it was adorned with millions of euros worth of diamonds and jewels from the royal family.
Queen Elizabeth II, who died aged 96 after 70 years of reign, will be buried this Monday at an event that hopes to draw thousands to London, England.
