A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of killing another with a knife in August 2022 in the municipality of Seixal, the Judicial Police (PJ) said today.
In his statement, Judge Setúbala explained that the detainee was suspected of a “finalized homicide” committed against a 25-year-old teenager.
According to the SP, the crime took place in August last year in the Seixal municipality, when the suspect, along with three other people, approached the victim, who was in the garage, with the intention of interrogating him about the possession of a bicycle.
“During the discussion, the aggressor stabbed the victim in the chest, who died as a result of such aggression,” the report says.
Also according to the joint venture, after committing this crime, the suspect fled abroad, and there are records of his visit to several EU countries.
The detainee will be present in court for judicial questioning and the application of appropriate coercive measures.
