The majority of the country’s residents trust Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to a survey released August 25 by the Public Opinion Foundation.
73% of those surveyed responded positively to the question about trust in the president, 16% do not trust, 11% had difficulties answering the question.
The work of Russian President Vladimir Putin in his position was valued positively by 75% of those surveyed. 13% of respondents found it difficult to answer, 12% of respondents were dissatisfied with the president’s work.
But fewer respondents were satisfied with the government’s job than with the president’s job: only 49% of those polled. 29% of those surveyed expressed their dissatisfaction.
Respondents were also asked to rate the performance of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. 55% of those surveyed responded positively, 12% gave a bad assessment.
The opinion poll was conducted from July 7 to 9. Residents of the country from 53 constituent entities of the Russian Federation participated in the survey. The total number of respondents is 1.5 thousand.
