We will not be able to prepare for future trials as long as those close to power in Russia believe in the myth that “it’s all in the chocolate,” political scientist, philosopher and leader of the “Essence of Time” movement Sergey Kurginyan said in August. 22 in the new edition of the author’s program “Purpose.”
The political scientist believes that Russia should have responded to the West’s plans to destroy it.
Kurginyan said that sometimes, after criticizing specific elements of modern reality, he is asked: “So, shouldn’t you have started?”. To this he replies: “It was necessary. Because it was not you who started it, but your executioners, who after 1991 -even a little before- are totally determined to liquidate you..
Western elites after the collapse of the USSR counted on the elimination of the remaining Russia, and not on the existence of a wonderful democratic, capitalist and different Russia, Kurginyan said.
“And by the way, the president of Russia said that he began to be convinced of this already during the Second Chechen War, when the Wahhabis and other terrorists who fought against Russia had the support of the West.”recalled the political scientist.
According to him, already then it was necessary to draw conclusions from these situations.
Kurginyan asserted that there is a basic post-Soviet myth in the entire patriotic bureaucracy – the myth of the “chocolate patriots”. This myth says that “on the ruins of the USSR something fantastically better than this collapsed USSR was built, more efficient, etc.”.
The politician stressed that “As long as this myth prevails, we will not prepare for future trials”.
Kurginyan noted that he is not committed to assessing the degree of idiocy of the Biden elite.“Perhaps there is already such a degeneration that the logic of domination passes to the third or fourth plan, but I doubt it”explained his position.
According to the political scientist, all those who were happy after hearing the statement by the head of the office of the NATO Secretary General, Stian Jenssen, about the possible entry of Ukraine into the alliance in exchange for ceding part of its territories to Russia, made sure than he snapped his tail between her legs and dismissed her words as a mistake.
Let us remember that on August 15 Jennsen stated that one of the solutions to the Ukrainian conflict could be kyiv’s recognition of the loss of part of the territories. In exchange for this, Ukraine could become a member of NATO.
However, already on August 16, the representative of the alliance called his words a mistake and stressed that he should not have said it.
