Vehicle traffic was driven by the north-south road of the April 25 Bridge between Lisbon and Almada this Saturday at 10:40 am, a source from Lusoponte, the company that manages the infrastructure, said.
Train traffic was also interrupted on the April 25 bridge between Pragal and Roma Areiro stations due to the incident, Fertagus said on its website this Saturday.
“In the direction of the bridge from north to south, traffic is limited to one lane, in which case only the left lane can be used. All entrances are also limited,” a source from Lusoponte told Lusa around 10:40.
In the South-North direction, all roads are passable, although traffic is also difficult, he added.
Train services were also interrupted from 6:20 am this Saturday between Pragal in Almada and Roma Areiro in Lisbon, according to carrier Fertagus.
At 10:00, the traffic was still interrupted, the carrier warned, noting that traffic between the stations of Setubal and Pragal was going on as usual.
Fertagus has a concession for commuter rail passenger services between the south bank of the Tagus and Lisbon.
