This Tuesday, Spanish rescue services are looking for three people who went missing as a result of flooding in the central region of Spain.
One missing is the father of a 10-year-old who survived by clinging to a tree after the family’s car went off track Sunday. The mother and sister of the minor were found, but the parent’s whereabouts are still unknown.
Two others are missing – a 54-year-old woman whose car was swept away while driving on a flooded road in Toledo. In the same region of Spain, an 83-year-old man was forcibly swept away by a strong current near his home.
The heavy rain that has hit Spain in recent days has claimed the lives of three people and led to the closure of several roads and public transport. The greatest damage was recorded in Toledo and Madrid.
