A 12-year-old student died after a gym teacher forced him to run in 90-degree temperatures in Lake Elsinore, California.
In accordance with New York PostYahshua Robinson allegedly told the teacher that he was not feeling well before passing out.
“He talked to the teacher and said he needed water,” the victim’s aunt said. Amarna Plummer, a television channel quoted New York Postadding that the nephew told the teacher and classmates that he couldn’t breathe.
The boy was nevertheless taken to a hospital, about 16 kilometers away, but he could not stand his injuries and eventually died.
Amarna Plummer said Yashua’s mother, also a physical education teacher, alerted the institution to the intense heat.
“She told the administration: “Don’t let any child go to physical education today.” What happened? They call her and say that he passed out in the field, ”said the boy’s aunt, quoted by The New York Post.
