This Friday, Spanish authorities discovered a second body, which has yet to be identified, during the search for missing persons in the Madrid area after the isolated high-level depression (DANA in its Spanish acronym) hit Spain on Sunday.
An hour earlier, Civil Guard and emergency services discovered another body, believed to be one of the victims of the storm, the Spanish government delegation in Madrid said.

The 50-year-old man was accompanied by his wife and two children during the storm: a girl and a ten-year-old child, who were rescued alive Monday morning, clinging to a tree branch and suffering from hypothermia. .
The woman was rescued on Sunday evening, and the couple’s daughter managed to get to the local fire station without assistance.
In Toledo, where three people have died due to heavy rains, the Civil Guard continues to search for a woman who disappeared on Sunday after she was swept away by river waters while driving on a road near the municipality of Valmojado.
