An earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale in Morocco, near Marrakech, was felt in Lisbon and the Algarve on Friday evening.
According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers and had two aftershocks in Morocco: one measuring 3.0 and the other measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale.
Lisbon
