A one-year-old child died locked in his parents’ car on Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of the Faculty of Science and Technology of Monte da Caparica, Almada.
An official source at GNR confirmed this CM that the warning was given by the girl’s parents at 3:30 p.m.
“Both were shocked when they arrived at the car and found their daughter locked and unconscious,” explained the person in charge.

INEM resources from GNR Trafaria were immediately called in. The minor, who was in a state of cardiac and respiratory arrest, was helped. Despite best efforts, she was pronounced dead.
By order of the Almada prosecutor’s office, the Setubal judicial police have already been called to investigate the circumstances of the death.
Despite the shock, the girl’s parents remained at the scene to cooperate with the investigation.
