European Parliament (EP) report on Türkiye in text form, “containing propaganda from some marginal groups”described the Turkish Minister of Justice, Yilmaz Tunç, writes Karar on September 15.
“We cannot accept criticism from the point of view of the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary. “This report has no value to us.”– he said.
Tunç also stressed that the accusations made in the European Parliament report are words that Turkey does not deserve.
The minister stated that the Turkish government, “No matter what they say”will continue to work for the benefit of the country, the well-being and peace of the Turkish people in accordance with the rule of law.
“Our judicial system will continue with trials anyway. The peace of our people, the security of our people, the right to life of our people are important to us. “We will continue the reforms that create the rule of law and further strengthen the rule of law.”concluded Tunç.
